Inland Revenue’s Compliance Focus 2011-12 presents the key compliance issues and emerging risks that we’re focusing on this year. It describes our initiatives to address non-compliance, and looks at what our customers can do to make sure they get it right.
Previously we've looked at patterns of non-compliant behaviour by customer group. This year we've grouped our compliance activities under four key themes.
- Everyone pays and receives the right amount
- We receive the right information at the right time
- Everyone files and pays on time
- We provide confidence and certainty to our customers.
We hope these groupings give you a clearer indication of what compliance means across every interaction you have with us.
