Family assistance payments to be made early

Weekly family assistance payment due to be paid on Tuesday 7 February will instead be available in customers' bank accounts on Saturday 4 February. The early payment is because of the Waitangi Day holiday.
"This means customers with eftpos cards or access to telebanking will be able to access their payment early on Saturday, 4 February. All other customers will be able to access their payment on Tuesday, 7 February," says Colin MacDonald, Inland Revenue's Deputy Commissioner Business Development and Systems.
The following weekly and fortnightly payment will be made on Tuesday, 14 November 2006.
