Family Assistance to be paid early
12 April 2006
Family assistance payments will be available earlier over Easter and ANZAC weekend. Inland Revenue will make the weekly and fortnightly payments on Friday 14 April, and Saturday 22 April instead of the normal payment dates of Tuesday 18 April 2006, and Tuesday 25 April 2006.
"This means that customers with eftpos cards or access to telebanking will be able to access their payments early on Friday, 14 April and Saturday, 22 April. All other customers will be able to access their payments on Tuesday, 18 April and Monday 24 April," says Colin MacDonald, Deputy Commissioner Business Development and Systems.
The next weekly payment will be made on Tuesday, 2 May 2006.
