Inland Revenue Flood Support

Some people may have difficulty meeting tax and child support obligations as a result of recent flooding. This might be a result of lost or damaged records, or simply other immediate priorities that need attention as a result of the flooding.

Anyone anticipating any difficulty should contact their tax agent or Inland Revenue as soon as possible. "We are able to take individual circumstances into account during events such as this, providing you contact us early," says Naomi Ferguson, Deputy Commissioner Service Delivery.

"We understand that tax isn't the first thing on people's minds in these situations. We want them to know we can help - they just need to call us."

Please contact Inland Revenue on 0800 377 774 (for business customers) or 0800 227 774 (for general enquiries), weekdays from 8am to 8pm and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays.
