You need to file an IR3NR if you haven't been in New Zealand for the 2017-2018 tax year but did earn income from New Zealand sources. Find out more

 

To file online you'll need:

  • Your IRD number
  • Income details for the 2017-2018 tax year - summary of earnings and any other income
  • Document lodgement number (DLN). This is printed on the DLN letter or income tax return we sent you. Haven't got it yet? Contact us

You need to file an IR4 income tax return if you were an active New Zealand resident company for the 2017-2018 tax year. Find out more

  • The company’s income details for the 2017-2018 period
  • The company’s IRD number
