PAYE calculator 2005
Use this PAYE calculator only for pay periods ending between 1 April 2004 and 31 March 2005 (inclusive). It will work out how much PAYE to deduct from wages paid to an employee each week, fortnight, four weeks or month.
If you enter a student loan tax code then the loan repayments will be calculated too.
If you've already paid your employee a cash amount, you can work out how much PAYE you'll have to account for on the amount paid. This will also tell you the gross figure for the net (cash) amount paid to your employee.
This calculator is not suitable for the following situations - see the Employer's Guide (IR 335) instead:
- PAYE on holiday pay paid as 6% of annual income
- lump sum payments (e.g. redundancy or retiring allowances)
- employees with a special tax code or deduction rate (IR 23)
- withholding payments
- payments to casual agricultural employees
- payments to election day workers
