Account access panel



Role

To change this user's role, select the new role from the drop-down list. An email will be sent to the new user advising them of this change.

Reset password

To reset this user's password, select the "Reset password" field, and select the "Continue" button.

An email will be sent to the new user advising them of their new temporary password. They will be prompted to change this password to one of their own choosing the next time they log into online services.

Suspend access (for active users)

To suspend this user's online services access, select the "Suspend access" field and select the "Continue" button.

Reactive access (for suspended users)

To reactivate this user's online services access, select the "Reactivate access" field and select the "Continue" button.

An email will be sent to the new user advising them of their new temporary password. They will be prompted to change this password to one of their own choosing the next time they log into online services.

Cancel access

To cancel this user's online services access, select the "Cancel access" field and select the "Continue" button.

An email will be sent to the new user advising them of this change.

Once cancelled, this user's access cannot be reinstated. If this user needs future online services access to this Inland Revenue account, they'll either need to re-register or have new access allocated.

When the new user has questions about their online service access, they will contact their support person. Choose the name of this person from the list of administrators and owners supplied.

Services



Service status

This page will be displayed when you're changing the access record for someone with a user role. The services listed on this page are those available to the business. This list will grow as more services become available. Access to all services will remain at "No Access" until this status is changed.

To allocate a new service to the user, select "Access" from the drop-down list.

To remove access to a service, select the "No Access" option from the "Service status" drop-down list.
