Personal tax summaries

What you may need:

• details of interest, dividends and Māori authority distributions
• details of deductible expenses
• your bank account number
• if you qualify for Working for Families Tax Credits:
  - family details, including partner information and children in your care - full names, date of birth, date the child started living with you (if different from date of birth)
• the number of weeks you worked more than 20 hours, if your income was under $9,880.00.

What you need to do:

• check the amounts and sources of income
• make any changes and let us know if anything is missing or incorrect
• confirm the personal tax summary
• pay any tax owing by the due date.

At the end of the confirmation, you will be taken to a printable receipt page that will display all the details that you have checked and updated.

IR3 income tax return

What you may need:

• details of any income you earned
• details of deductible expenses
• your bank account number
• the number of weeks you worked more than 20 hours, if your income was under $9,880.00
• any dates that you were out of New Zealand.

What you need to do:

• check the details we hold for you
• make any changes, and add further details
• pay any tax owing by the due date.

At the end of the return submission, you will be taken to a printable receipt page that will display all the details that you have checked and updated.
