Write S in the circle under question 2 of the Tax code declaration (IR330) form, then give the completed form to your employer. Make sure you complete questions 1-4 of the IR330.

Example

Justin is a university student with a student loan. During the university year he works at a cafe earning $260 a week before tax.

Justin knows he?ll increases his hours at the cafe over the 12 week summer break and will earn $480 a week.

His total income will be $16,160 ($10,400 for 40 weeks and $5,760 for 12 weeks).

During the summer break Justin also starts working weekends at a leather factory earning $256 a week before tax. He works out his total annual income from this job will be $3,072.

When Justin's completes the Tax code declaration (IR330) for his secondary job at the leather factory he answers "Yes" to the above question because his annual income from all his jobs will be $19,232 ($16,160 + $3,072) which is over the repayment threshold.
