Recognised seasonal workers

If you are employed under the recognised seasonal employers scheme, your tax code will be NSW.

Write NSW in the circle under question 2 of the Tax code declaration (IR330) form, then give the completed form to your employer or recognised seasonal labour coordinator. Make sure you complete questions 1-4 of the IR330.
You can complete an IR330 online or download a copy - go to "Forms and guides".

Definition

Recognised seasonal workers are employed by recognised seasonal employers who are registered with the Department of Labour. They are taxed through the PAYE system at a flat rate. Further details are available on the Department of Labour website.
