Māori Trust Board Act 1955

The Māori Trust Board Act 1955 (MTBA) is administered by the Ministry of Maori Development - Te Puni Kokiri. Section 2 of the Māori Trust Board Act establishes Māori Trust Boards as legal entities. The trustees are elected by the beneficiaries and act in accordance with the legal obligations as set out in the Māori Trust Board Act 1955.
