The wellbeing of the language

Welcome to Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori - Māori Language Week, where we celebrate one of our national languages. This year’s theme is Kia ora te reo Māori – supporting the wellbeing of the language. The aim of the week; as well as the wellbeing of the language we will also look at health and safety for the wellbeing of people; uplifting people to uplift the language.

Nau mai haere mai ki te wiki o te reo Māori e whakanui ana i tētahi o ā tātou reo ā- iwi. Ko te kaupapa i tēnei tau, Kia ora te reo Māori.

Te Rātonga Kaitakawaenga Māori

Ka whakamārama ngā Kaitakawaenga Māori i ngā mea katoa e tika ana kia mōhio koe e pā ana ki te Taake umanga me te Taake o te hunga takitahi me ētahi atu wāhanga o Te Tari Taake.

Māori Community Officers will explain everything you need to know about business and individual tax, and other areas of Inland Revenue.

Māori Community Officers can offer:

  • One-to-one tax advice
  • Tax training or seminars
  • Tax agencies at resource centres or marae
  • School visits (Kōhanga reo, Kura kaupapa).
