We've gone mobile
Now you can use your smartphone or tablet to access your personal Inland Revenue information, anytime or anywhere with our mobile web application.
Whether you're in New Zealand or overseas, you can use the mobile web app to:
- view your IRD number
- view and amend your personal details like address, phone number, bank account and email
- view current year student loan balances and repayments, including loan details from StudyLink
- set up repayment reminders into your calendar if you're an overseas-based student loan borrower
- check your balances and payments for Working for Families and child support payments.
If you have a myIR Secure Online Services account you can start using the mobile web app straight away. If you don't, you'll need to register either online or through the app. Then you'll need to make a quick call to confirm your identity and you'll be good to go. Once you’ve got a myIR account you’ll be able to reset your password if you happen to forget it.
If you have a smartphone, type www.ird.govt.nz/mobile in your web browser to get the app.
Note
The mobile web app can be used on any operating system and when saved will appear as an app icon. You'll need to be registered for myIR for your security, but you can do that through the mobile web app.
