About this service

This service lets you register your organisation if it operates gaming machines. It is the same ascompleting Gaming machine duty application for registration (IR181) form.

When to use this service

If you are an organisation operating gaming machines you must pay gaming machine duty on the profits taken from the machines.

This service will take about 15 minutes to complete.

What you will need
  • Your organisation's IRD number - if you do not have this call us on 0800 377 772.
  • Your gaming machine licence number
  • Site number (if applicable)
After you finish

Once you have completed you registration, it will be processed within 5 working days. You will then recieve confirmation of your registration by post.

If you wish to keep a copy for your own records, please print or save the confirmation page.

This service may require you to send confidential information to Inland Revenue so it is located on a secure part of our website to prevent unauthorised interception. If you are unable to access this service, your browser and/or firewall settings may need updating.
