This service allows research and development (R&D) providers who are included on the list of research providers on our website to update their details.
When to use this service
Use this service when you wish to update your listing on the list of research providers on our website.
Important
Providers seeking to be listed must confirm that they are capable of performing eligible R&D activities. Inland Revenue carries out limited checks beyond this confirmation, but we are unable to comment on the provider's expertise or ability to perform the R&D activities. Inland Revenue does not endorse providers in any way by listing them.
What you will need
You'll need:
- your business IRD number - if you don't have this, call us on 0800 377 774
- your business address and contact details
- details of the types of R&D activities you can carry out for multiple clients
- access to a printer or a PDF reader.
After you finish
When you've submitted this form, please print or save the receipt page, and keep it for your tax records.
We'll process your application within about five working days.
Your business will need to continue to meet the criteria to remain on the list of research providers on our website.
