  What taxes you pay and how much those taxes are may depend on your status as a tax resident of New Zealand. 

• People with business related to Rugby World Cup 2011

  Find out about tax responsibilities if you're a non-resident or New Zealander. This section covers hospitality, tourism and entertainment industries and renting out your house or offering accommodation on your marae.

• Players, officials and unions

  If you're a professional overseas Rugby Union (non-resident) you'll be taxed under New Zealand's companies rules.

• Tourists and fans

  If you visit New Zealand, you won't be able to get a GST refund when you leave. If you work while you're here, find out if you have to pay tax. If you're an owner or crew of a superyacht or other visiting pleasure craft, you may not need to pay income tax or GST.
