Student Loan Scheme reports are jointly prepared by the Ministry of Education, Inland Revenue and the Ministry of Social Development. They contain financial and demographic information, including data on student loan borrowing and debt.

Reports and additional statistical tables on student loans are available on the Ministry of Education's statistics and research website called Education COUNTS.

Inland Revenue and StudyLink also produce quarterly reports which present a snapshot of quarterly changes in the student loan population.
