When to use this form
You can use this form to address issues relating to the NOPA that you have been sent. This form is your response to the NOPA that we have sent out to you.
What you will need
You will need to consider each of the following areas when completing this form:
- you must reject each proposed adjustment that you disagree with
- the tax laws on which you rely - this may mean that you want to refer to laws other than those stated by the Commissioner
- set out any additional facts that you feel support your case
- set out any legal issues other than those in the NOPA
- please state any propositions of law that provide legal support for your adjustment.

You must have this form back to us within two months of the date on which the Commissioner's notice of proposed adjustment (NOPA) was issued. If you do not meet this deadline your notice cannot be considered unless exceptional circumstances apply.
