A form that businesses that officially cease trading can use to finalise their tax liabilities for GST and employer taxes. In most cases it will be quicker to cease your business over the phone - just call us on 0800 377 774.

When to use this form
Use this form if you are in business and wish to deregister.
To cease income tax you need to provide different details and some in writing - see ceasing business.
What you will need
Your business IRD number, the cessation date, business details relating to company, employer, fringe benefit tax and GST.
