If you are a paying parent and want an exemption from paying child support on the grounds you were the victim of a sexual offence, you may be able to use this form.

When to use this form
Use this form if an application for child support has been accepted by Child Support naming you as the paying parent, you want to apply for an exemption from paying child support, and:
- you believe that the child was born as a result of a sexual offence (as defined by section 127-144c of the Crimes Act 1961),
- a person other than yourself has been:
- convicted of the sexual offence, or
- proved to have committed the sexual offence before the youth court.
What you will need
The name, date of birth (or approximate age if date of birth not known) of the offender, date of court hearing and name of the court where the hearing took place.
