Who gets it
If you receive weekly or fortnightly Working for Families Tax Credits payments, you will also receive a notice of entitlement (NOE). You should check your NOE to make sure that we hold the correct information and pay you the right amount of money.
What it is
The NOE is a confirmation of your entitlement to receive Working for Families Tax Credits.
What it shows
The NOE shows:
- all the information you gave us about your family circumstances, and
- how much money we pay you weekly or fortnightly.

When it is sent
The NOE is sent within four weeks after we receive your application.
What to do if everything's correct
If all the information provided in the NOE is correct and you don't have any change of circumstances, you don't need to contact us. Please keep the NOE for your personal records.
