Gather your information

We will need:

  • a letter from you that says why you are applying to keep your student loan interest free
  • all the supporting documents required for your scenario.

Log into myIR

Go to your student loan account, in the 'I want to' section, select 'Apply for overseas interest free'.

You can attach your supporting documents to the application.

You will need to register for myIR if you have not done this before.

Do it now in myIR

If you do not have a myIR account, you will need to register for myIR or contact us.

What happens next

We’ll try to get back to you within 10 working days.

Our reply may take longer if you send your request through by mail.
