We have resolved the following alerts issues in myIR.
Alerts for subscribed clients were not showing up immediately in the Intermediary centre. This has been resolved and they will now show for all clients you are currently subscribed to. The alerts will also automatically update when subscribing to a new client. It may take a few minutes for the alerts to appear.
Some myIR tax agent subscribed alerts had previously disappeared from the Intermediary centre overnight. This has been resolved and all alerts for subscribed clients will now be correctly evaluated overnight. This happens at the end of the nightly run, so may still be running as late as 9am.
Alerts were showing in the name search but in some cases, when the client was accessed, there was no alert. We have now removed the alert from the name search list as it was not accurately representing alerts for clients not subscribed to. You can now view client alerts by:
- Subscribing to the client account and going to the Intermediary centre, or
- Adding up to 50 clients to the Favourites tab to see an alerts overview, or
- Accessing the client directly.
Previously, Dividend Withholding Tax (DWT) return alerts were incorrectly showing for historic DWT periods. These have been removed and should no longer show.
Alerts appear for accounts that require a return to be filed, including income tax, from the date that the return is generated. These can be dismissed and will reappear 10 days before the due date.
We are still working on a fix for another issue where myIR alerts are showing for EMP returns that are marked as optional. We will communicate further when this has been resolved.
