Delays to response times: It's taking longer than usual to answer calls and myIR messages, including for unclaimed money. You may be able to use self-service options in myIR. You can also find information on our website by typing in what you want to do in the search bar. Thank you for your understanding. Log in to myIR

People eligible for the Cost of Living Payment will have the first payment paid into their bank account by the end of the day on Monday 1 August. The payments will be staggered throughout the day and Credit Union customers will not receive their payment until Tuesday August 2.

People eligible for the first payment who were not able to add or update their bank account details in myIR by the end of Friday 29 July will not miss out. They will receive the payment once their bank account has been added or updated and we have confirmed they meet the eligibility criteria.

We’ll check eligibility daily until 31 March 2023 and you can update your bank account details until the end of March 2024.

If your income assessment is completed after any of the 3 main Cost of Living Payments (1 August, 1 September and 3 October) have been paid and you are eligible for it, you'll get either:

  • any payments that have not been made yet and a lump sum of any payments you were eligible for but missed
  • a lump sum based on the number of payments you are entitled to if all payment dates have passed.

You can add or update your bank account in myIR.
