Our COVID-19 support products were introduced under a high trust model. Although there are integrity checks in place, there is also an expectation that only eligible people received support.
We recently started focussed work on post payment verification for RSP, CSP and SBCS and have identified some customers who may not meet all the relevant eligibility criteria. Over 4 -7 October, a letter will be sent to customers who may need to double-check their eligibility and let us know if they made a mistake.
If you have a client with the mail redirect on, this letter will be sent to you instead. The purpose of the message is to encourage customers to check the eligibility criteria and, if they think they received a payment they were not eligible for, to declare it as soon as possible at rspdisclosures
