We have resolved the issue where some COVID-19 Leave Support Scheme (LSS) and Short-Term Absence (STAP) payments were not appearing in the income summary in myIR for 2022.

These payments have now been updated to the income summary in myIR and will pre-populate into the Individual income tax return - IR3, the Non-resident individual tax return - IR3NR and are now included in the payment details available in Gateway Services.

We are also aware that there are two additional issues affecting the details appearing in the income summary in myIR and pre-populating into IR3's and IR3NR's:

  • COVID-19 Leave Support Scheme (LSS) payment amounts have been overstated for a small group of customers, and
  • Wage subsidy top-up payments from MSD for another small group of customers has not yet been included.

We apologise for the inconvenience these additional issues are causing and are working to fix them.

It continues to be important to double-check with your clients, that the amounts that are in the income summary and are pre-populated into their returns are correct. We will advise you when these issues have been resolved.
