We’re aware of an issue when our system is transferring credits to offset debt (including overdue provisional tax instalments) and the credit was available before the due date for the debt. Instead of using the best effective date (for example, when the credit first became available), it is using the date the transfer was made. We’re currently working on a fix for this issue.

If you, or any of your clients, are affected by this issue, please send us a message in myIR to have the credit transfer date corrected.

Please note that a transfer to offset debt will be actioned before any transfer requested in a return.
