We recommend you do not move clients between tax agency lists after L letters have been issued/D status has been approved, as our system will consider this a break in service and remove the L status/D status.

When a client is delinked from a tax agent the Extension of time (EOT) is removed including any L status (L letter issued) or deferred actions (D status) for that client. If another tax agent subsequently links to the account, the L status/D status will not be reinstated for the same period and the EOT may be affected.

This includes clients that are being transferred between client lists within the same tax agency.
