We’re aware of an issue where the myIR account for a deceased customer was not showing up to date income details. Due to the way our system processes income received after date of death, there was a mismatch between the information showing in myIR and the income showing on a Summary of Earnings. We have now fixed this issue for tax agents that use a software package to file their clients’ income tax returns. The correct full earnings will be displayed for 2021 onwards.

In the meantime, this information will automatically prepopulate with correct income earnings information if you file the tax return in myIR. If you file the return by E-File or paper, use the information provided on the Summary of Earnings.
