We're aware that some transfer requests submitted with tax returns filed through Gateway Services and myIR are not being completed.
The transfer requests are received by us, but not completed in some situations.
These include when the destination:
- account has a flag or indicator stopping transfers
- client is not available to be transferred to.
If we do not complete the request, we'll still process and release any refund from the source client.
Certain criteria must be met before a request for a credit transfer on a tax return can be processed. You can find more guidance in 'Requesting transfers'.
