Since moving KiwiSaver into our new system we can more easily identify when an employee is an active KiwiSaver member who should have deductions from their wages. This enables us to proactively notify the relevant employers.

You may get notifications for employees who have sent us a KiwiSaver opt-out request - KS10, but the opt out needs to be approved. In some cases employees are not eligible to opt out, for example, if they're already an active KiwiSaver member before starting employment with you, or they chose to join KiwiSaver after starting employment with you.
