We’re aware of instances where some tax agents, or their staff, are using someone else’s myIR user ID instead of their own. This is against the terms and conditions of using myIR.

We need to make sure there are no breaches to a customer’s privacy by releasing information to an unauthorised person. If we suspect or identify that someone is using a user ID that does not belong to them we may cancel it.
