We have had an issue where tax agents who are still linked to ceased customers are unable to access these clients' accounts in myIR and file their returns.

This issue has now been resolved.

Tax agents can now access their client accounts where a customer cessation case has been completed or where accounts have been ceased, this includes deceased customers.

If you have been delinked, you'll need to get a new authority from your client then contact us to request a new link. When the new link is added, you can access your client's accounts:

  • by adding the client to your workspace
  • via the temporary workspace manager.
