We have resolved an issue where some customers using tax pooling were incorrectly issued a letter advising that a required payment had not been made by the due date and that we were allowing extra time (a grace period) for them to make the payment before late payment penalties were charged.

Going forward, customers using tax pooling will not be issued this letter and will not be advised that they are being given a grace period to make the required payment. We have corrected the records of the impacted customers that we are aware of. If any of your clients, are affected by this issue, please send us a message in myIR to have their account corrected.
