  Inland Revenue is reminding people who receive income from self-employment, rental properties, partnerships or withholding payments that they may need to file an IR 3 tax return.

  Inland Revenue today welcomed the prison sentence handed down on a Palmerston North tax fraudster who stole about $220,000 from clients of the accounting firm where he worked.

  Weekly family assistance payment due to be paid on Tuesday 7 February will instead be available in customers' bank accounts on Saturday 4 February. The early payment is because of the Waitangi Day holiday.
