When to use this form

Complete this return if you administer a trust or estate for the tax period 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012. If the trust or estate has no prospect or intention of deriving any assessable income in a given financial year, you may call us on 0800 377 774 with the name and IRD number of the trust and we will record that no return is required for that year.
