It's easy with our online services

New features available now

Our online services for individuals give you access to the information we hold about you. These secure services operate in a similar way to an online banking account. It's simple to register and the services are easy to use. There's a lot you can do now and there are still more features to come.

What was added recently?

You can now:

• confirm your 2009 personal tax summary (PTS) refund, add interest, dividends, Māori authority distributions and expense details, and add or update your bank account details
• complete your 2009 IR3 income tax return which will pre-populate with information from our database (for example, salary or wages and losses to carry forward)
• save drafts of your PTS confirmation or IR3, so you can come back to them later.

What other services are there?

You can also:

• get your salary or wage information
• update your working for families tax credits details
• ask us questions about your situation by email
• view your balances and transactions, for example your:
  • student loan balance and payments
  • working for families tax credits transactions, and
  • donation tax credit details.

What changes are coming?

We'll be adding more features and services, including an updated online services home page for families and individuals early next year. We'll let you know more about these changes soon.
