Payroll giving - a new initiative
From 7 January 2010 you may be able to donate to your favourite donee organisation straight from your pay and receive an immediate tax credit.
"Payroll giving" is a new initiative. It is voluntary - it's up to your employer to choose if they want to offer the scheme or not.
If your employer offers payroll giving, you can then choose to take part.
