System update complete September 2026

We’ve successfully completed our system updates.

myIR, gateway services and our self-service voice channels are now available.

Our offices and phonelines will be back to normal on Monday 14 September 2026.

You may notice the following changes to myIR.

• You’ll receive an email or text message when a two-step verification method is added, removed, or changed.
• In web messages, new replies will appear below the previous message (existing messages stay the same).
• You can add multiple attachments to messages, including dragging and dropping files.
• You’ll only be able to reply to the most recent message in a conversation.
• Taxpayer ruling and determination applications and pre-lodgement meetings must now be submitted in myIR.
