Community Liaison Officers
Community groups can contact Child Support's community liaison officers for free education sessions on child support issues.
How our service can help
Child Support community liaison officers will:
- talk to and educate communities about child support
- visit organisations
- make direct contact with groups such as prisons and schools
- build relationships with those with an interest in child support, such as government and other specialist groups.
Community newsletter
Inland Revenue produces a community newsletter called Community-Wise. This is targeted at community groups and electorate offices and provides child support, Working for Families Tax Credits and student loan news.
You can get a copy of Community-Wise:
- by downloading an issue from our library, or
- through any of our community liaison officers.
You can also subscribe to automatically receive each new issue of Community-Wise.

If you want someone to speak to your community organisation, school, workplace, government department, youth or specialist group about Child Support, call 0800 221 221 and ask to speak to the community liaison officer in your region.
