If you pay your employees other benefits and allowances, you need to work out the tax value and pay it to us.

ACC PAYE needs to be deducted from any loss of earnings compensation that ACC pays to your employees. ACC will deduct PAYE using the employee's tax code.
Allowances There are different types of allowances that you may pay in addition to salary or wages which benefit the employee. They are usually taxable except in certain circumstances.

Fringe benefit tax If you provide any benefits to employees, shareholders, or other people associated with your business on top of their salary or wage you may need to pay fringe benefit tax (FBT).
