When to use this guide
You'll need to complete an IR6 return if you administer an estate or trust, unless the trust or estate has no prospect or intention of deriving any assessable income in a given financial year. In this case please call us on 0800 377 774 with the name and IRD number of the trust and we'll record that a return is not required.
