Avoiding interest and penalties
To avoid interest and penalties:
- submit your GST returns by the due date
- make your GST payments by the due date
- contact us early about any changes relating to your GST returns or your GST registration, and
- contact us early if you're unable to make the required payment to us on time. There are a range of options available for paying amounts due.
