Working with providers
Providers administer KiwiSaver schemes and invest members' contributions. KiwiSaver schemes are registered by the Financial Markets Authority. There is a wide range of scheme providers and schemes with different investments, from lower-risk conservative funds to higher-risk growth funds.
You will have minimal contact with providers, unless you choose to offer a KiwiSaver scheme to your employees.
KiwiSaver is intended to complement rather than replace existing registered superannuation schemes.
