Information about filing your returns, what to do if you are having difficulties and penalties and interest charged on late and insufficient payments.

Filing returns

It is important that you file the overdue return so that your correct tax position can be confirmed. You may even be entitled to a refund.

Financial difficulties

There are a range of options available if you're having difficulty paying a tax bill. You must first file a tax return. Please contact us, as you may have to pay penalties and interest on outstanding amounts.

Penalties and interest

If your organisation doesn't pay tax in full and on time, we'll charge late payment penalties and interest. Additionally, some actions, such as not providing accurate information, may attract shortfall penalties and/or other penalties. By working with us, any potential penalties may be reduced.
