Paying by credit or debit card
We've extended our existing credit and debit card service to include all payment types. Customers can now use a credit or debit card to make all online payments to Inland Revenue.
In the past we've absorbed the convenience fee for this service, but customers will now be required to pay the 1.42% convenience fee charged by our bank Westpac New Zealand.
However, we'll continue to pay the convenience fee for payments made from overseas for:
- student loans
- non-custodial child support payments.
