We’re changing to reusable envelopes
From 1 October 2011, we’ll start using reusable outer envelopes for most Inland Revenue returns. Currently we supply return envelopes with the return, but will change this in keeping with current best practice and to help reduce our paper outputs. We’ll have both reusable business reply and non-reply paid envelopes.
This means that the returns we’ll send you will have to come back to us in the same envelope it was sent in.
