Correcting an employer return after you've filed it

Sometimes you may need to correct your employer return after you've filed it.

To make a correction to an Employer monthly schedule (IR348) - if you file by ir-File, or Employer schedule (IR348) - if you're a paper filer, you can:

  • send in a completed Employer schedule amendments (IR344) form, or
  • call us if there are a small number of changes and we can update them over the phone.

You can also use the IR344 to correct the employer superannuation contribution tax (ESCT) amount on the Employer deductions (IR345) form you've filed.

You can correct your Employment information schedule in myIR - if you're a payday filer.

Don't file another return

If you file a further return it won't be processed by our system.
