Introduction to business workshop
A seminar for people who are thinking of starting their own business, or are new to business, covering:
- record keeping requirements
- keeping a cash book
- income and expenses
- budgeting for income tax payments
- due dates for returns
- payments and provisional tax, and
- an overview of GST.
We'll also cover our "Tool for Business" and online services.
Bookings are essential due to room capacity.

A workshop for people who are new to employing staff. We'll cover:
- keeping wage records
- manual and electronic calculations of PAYE and other deductions
- KiwiSaver
- completing the Employer monthly schedule (IR348) and Employer deductions (IR345) forms
- due dates, and
- how to file returns online.
We'll also cover our new "Tool for business".
