Our Community Compliance Officers offer tax education to new businesses and small organisations, as well as seminars regarding personal tax and entitlements. They work from most of our offices and regularly travel to other areas.

Seminars

We have a range of seminars and webinars available to help you understand and meet your tax obligations.

Seminars

Videos

You can also request a seminar for your organisation on personal tax and entitlements, such as Working for Families, KiwiSaver and child support.

Business advisory visits

You can request a business advisory visit to learn about:

  • the taxes you need to know about
  • record keeping
  • GST and employer returns
  • your KiwiSaver obligations
  • when you need to file and make payments.

These visits are available to any individuals or organisations currently in business or considering setting up a business, as well as sports clubs and other non-profit bodies. They're really useful for organisations where people in voluntary positions, such as treasurers, frequently change.
